Media Inquiries

This is a brand new event, and we’re already hearing the buzz. If you a press outlet, are excited, and are looking to reach out to learn more, our media team is standing by to assist you with your inquiry.

In the coming months, we’ll have our own emails and channels setup, but you can reach us at info(at)project-nerd.com in the meantime. Please contact our team directly for…

  • Background information on Boulder Fan Fest and the causes it supports.
  • Interview requests with the leadership team.
  • Interview requests with announced guests, vendors, and partners.

Press Access

Our first message on Instagram was about press access to the show. We know how important it is to have local and regional coverage of the event in order to help it grow. After all, the Project-Nerd team covers events all across the country for the same reasons. After dates and venue are announced, we’ll open up a Press Application right here on the website.

Accessible press outlet types:

  • Internet Press: Press access will be available for online blogs, podcasts, and video creators that meet certain requirements.
  • Television: Press access will be available for all television stations and outlets.
  • Radio: Press access will be available for radio stations that serve the Boulder area.
  • Print Media: Press access will be available for radio stations that serve the Boulder and Denver areas.

Rules, requirements, and instructions for press access to Boulder Fan Fest will be posted ahead of the application.

Project-Nerd Coverage

Project-Nerd is a number of things, but at the heart of the brand are the blog, podcasts, and web series the team works tirelessly on. The Project-Nerd team has also covered more than 100 conventions over the course of 13-plus years operating. Both of those points mean the Project-Nerd team will be handling coverage of the event up front, delegating press coverage during the show, and will also have a strong presence at the event.
