Press Access Requirements
Each individual must submit their own application. Credentials will not be awarded en masse.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All applications must be submitted by the declared deadline and all applicants will be notified if they have been approved at least two weeks prior to the show dates.
Press credentials are non-transferrable and not resellable. All press credentials will be verified with a Photo ID. Any individuals caught selling or transferring their press badge will be disqualified from attending Boulder Fan Fest.
Press credentials do not guarantee celebrity and creator guest access or interviews. Press credentials are provided as a courtesy to cover Boulder Fan Fest. You may not approach guests within the celebrity row to solicit for interviews. Any press caught interfering with or delaying attendees access to guests will be asked to leave.
Press credentials do not include special admission or access. All press must adhere to the show hours and access of those with standard admission to Boulder Fan Fest. Press will not have reserved seats or sections for Boulder Fan Fest programming.
It is the sole discretion of Boulder Fan Fest staff to approve or deny applicants, even if they meet the outlined requirements.
All press must adhere to all Boulder Fan Fest policies and rules.

												Project-Nerd Coverage
Project-Nerd is a number of things, but at the heart of the brand are the blog, podcasts, and web series the team works tirelessly on. The Project-Nerd team has also covered more than 100 conventions over the course of 13-plus years operating. Both of those points mean the Project-Nerd team will be handling coverage of the event up front, delegating press coverage during the show, and will also have a strong presence at the event.
Having a press outlet and event coverage team at the heart of the event does not mean other outlets will be locked out. In fact, most of the Project-Nerd Team will be focused on running the event. It does, however, mean we do not need solicitations for staff photographers, videographers, and other similar roles. If you are interested in being a part of the team and volunteering in a technical capacity, please visit our Volunteer Page.
